Forza Motorsport Launches NASCAR Expansion Pack

Like in any other sport, motor racing fans have always wondered what it would look like if a NASCAR stock car lined up against Australian V8s or Formula E race cars. In the real world, such an occurrence would be next to impossible. But Forza Motorsport 6 is not the real world; it’s a world where such imaginary races are about to become possible with the launch of the NASCAR Expansion Pack.

The latest expansion pack to arrive for Forza Motorsport just might be the most anticipated pack to hit the game. That’s not even an exaggeration considering the kind of content this pack has. The biggest addition is the new NASCAR World Tour career mode, which allows gamers to put their NASCAR racers against some of the fastest and most powerful cars in the world. Those who opt to play with the NASCAR stock cars won’t be limited with their choices either as the pack comes with a total of 24 different different 2016-season NASCAR models from teams like Joe Gibbs Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, and Team Penske.

Even better, the actual stock cars of Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, and six-time Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson are also included in the pack. The three NASCAR drivers also lent their voices in the pack, serving as the “Voices of Motorsport” that introduces fans to the history and technology of NASCAR.

In addition to the new career mode and the infusion of all these NASCAR stock cars, the expansion pack also comes with a new race track – Homestead-Miami Speedway – that will be available in all modes of play. A NASCAR-themed Rivals mode is also available with the pack to go along with League and multiplayer options that gamers can freely enjoy.

If anything, the NASCAR Expansion Pack continues a tradition by Turn 10 Studios to launch some of the most exciting and riveting expansion packs for the latest iteration of the Forza Motorsport video game franchise. We’ve seen a lot of them released in recent months, but there’s no question that the NASCAR Expansion Pack is arguably one of the most exciting expansion packs to come out for Forza 6.
