2015 Frankfurt Motor Show - Worst In Show


The 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show brought us more than 50 global and European debuts and a vehicle lineup that included just about anything from mundane family cars to outlandish concepts. But even though highlights included many vehicles that will change the automotive industry, such as the 2017 Bentley Bentayga, 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Convertible, the turbocharged 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera, or the 2015 Porsche Mission E Concept, this year’s event also featured cars and concepts that were anything but impressive.

Actually, the Frankfurt Motor Show would’ve been just fine without them, but I can’t blame carmakers for trying to make it in this business.

Of course, not all the vehicles in my Top 5 are bound to fail in the their respective markets. I’ve also included two concept cars, as well as one of the most luxurious convertibles ever launched. All five models were included for different reasons, ranging from the impact they may have once in dealerships to the marketing strategies behind them.
