The Geneva Auto Show is just around the corner, and everyone is getting ready for it. Heck, even Suzuki is getting into the mix this year. The Japanese automaker, which is best known for its motorcycles here in the U.S., has released a teaser image showing off a new concept car that it will debut at the show. Named the iM-4 Concept, this hatchback crossover will roll into Geneva boasting four-wheel drive in an attempt to give buyers a cheaper alternative to the Fiat 500X and the Mini Countryman.
The issue is that Suzuki doesn’t necessarily light it up in terms of sales, and I don’t know if a low-volume automaker can really afford to dive into niche segments like this on a whim. With stalwarts like Mini and Fiat already holding down the fort, can Suzuki actually compete?
