Fiat 500

When it comes to funky, stylish city runabouts, few are doing it as well as Fiat these days. The little 500 has all that Italian flair wrapped up into a cute and compact shape that makes the Mini Cooper look gargantuan, and it does so for a bargain price. When this redesigned classic hit U.S. shores in 2010, it was the first Fiat to be sold here since 1984. Since that first one debuted, Fiat has created a convertible version, a pair of faster turbocharged variants, the larger Fiat 500L and a chunky SUV-esque 500X. They even slapped batteries and electric motors in one to create an EV. Now though, the standard car is five years old, and an updated version is in the works. We have the spy shots to prove it.

I don’t expect huge changes to roll around with this revision, but judging by these photos, Fiat may have a visual trick or two up its sleeve.

All of the information we have is purely speculative, but I have a pretty good record of getting this sort of stuff right. Hit that jump to find out all the information you need on what is going to keep this Italian machine fresh on the showroom.
