Acura RDX

Acura has promised a revised RDX for 2016, and we’ll see it at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show on February 12.

If there is one thing Acura knows well, it’s SUVs. It has long been an industry leader in luxury SUVs, and the RDX is no exception. It had massive success in 2014, as it led its class at 44,865 units sold. Despite its massive success, Acura decided not to rest on its laurels and leave the RDX as it. Instead, the company has decided to give the RDX a refresh on the inside, outside, and under the skin. This new RDX will debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show on February 12.

The details behind the 2016 RDX remain unknown, but that’s never stopped me from speculating in the past. My assumption is that for the most part, the SUV will remain unchanged, save for a few nips and tucks here and there. Under the hood, expect to see a new transmission and maybe a mild tweak to the engine to improve output and fuel economy.
