We already know Chevrolet is working on a new-generation Camaro slated to arrive sometime in 2015 for the 2016 model year. The pony has already hit the Nurburgring track for high-speed testing, but not much is known about it. Meanwhile, GM is also working on bidding farewell to the current Camaro by launching yet another special-edition muscle car. Based on the SS trim, the custom Camaro is set to break cover at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas before arriving at dealers in the first quarter of 2015. Like most special-edition Camaros, the SEMA version sports an exclusive exterior paint and many other unique features.
There’s only one problem with it for the moment. It needs a name. This is why Chevrolet is inviting you to name its new special-edition Camaro through the #NameThatCamaro campaign. The contest requires you to write your name suggestion on Chevy’s Twitter or Facebook page with the tag #NameThatCamaro. No specific deadline has been announced, but the automaker says the winning name will be announced in November at the SEMA Show, so make sure you submit your entry. But until you do that, read on to find out what makes this Camaro special.
