Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is showing off a new smartphone app for its Uconnect system at CES 2015. Available for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, the Uconnect Access smartphone application features a new look, improved feel and functionality, enabling owners to navigate through it in a faster and more intuitive manner. The new app also introduces four all-new services, through which drivers are able to locate their cars with their smartphones, send destinations to the navigation system remotely and receive health reports about their vehicles via email accounts.
Designed to "minimize the everyday stresses by providing drivers with a variety of ways to stay conveniently connected to their vehicle," the app and the new services are scheduled to become available during the first half of 2015 on 2015 model year Chrysler family vehicles equipped with 8.4A or 8.4AN Uconnect infotainment systems.
