Kahn Design is well-known for the bespoke luxury vehicles it crafts, but none are more well-known than its Land Rover Range Rovers. This Ranger Rover 4.4 Autobiography Long Wheel Base RS-600 Performance Edition is its latest creation.
While its name is almost as long as its extended wheelbase, this Range Rover comes with a plethora of upgrades and unique touches. For starters, the Rover gets a wire-mesh grille with double vents. Around the sides, the aero kit becomes very noticeable, and the extra-wide fender flairs help accentuate the up-sized 305-series tires. The performance rubber is mounted on 9.5-by-23-inch RS wheels finished in a menacing matte black. Matching the black wheels are black mirror caps, and side vents. Those are contrasted by the stunning Paris Grey paint.
The inside is also revamped. Perforated leather seats in black help keep occupants heated and cooled depending on the temperature, while also providing a welcomed back massage after a particularly long day. Machined aluminum pedals, stainless-steel door-entry sill plates, center console trim and steering wheel center are all branded with the Kahn logo.
While a conventional Range Rover Autobiography LWB isn’t "cheap" by any stretch of the imagination, this Kahn Design example takes pricing to another level. As it sits, this vehicle costs a cool $207,462 as of 10/6/2014.
