Audi’s planning to unveil a game-changing concept at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The German automaker has yet to reveal the name of the concept, but all signs seem to point to it being the hotly anticipated A9 Concept that will revolutionize Audi’s design philosophy moving forward. Needless to say, this isn’t your typical flash-in-the-pan concept.
A single teaser photo of the concept was released by Audi with the model being developed under the stewardship of the brand’s new design director Marc Lichte. According to Lichte, the concept is Audi’s way of “putting increased emphasis on its sporting dimension," which is a more dramatic way of saying that the concept will create a new design language for the company’s next-generation models.
From what we can surmise, it’s dramatic proportions that will probably leave a lot of jaws on the floor when the concept makes its debut in Los Angeles. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to see the believed-to-be Audi A9 Concept, as the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show opens its doors on November 18, 2014, giving us a little over a month to wonder what’s lurking under the shadows of that teaser photo.
